Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Ludic, an AI-native game creation, publishing and distribution platform operated at ludic.live. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to these terms.

If you use Ludic on behalf of a company or studio, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ludic. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Ownership of what you create

You own the games, characters, worlds, artwork and code you create with Ludic. Ludic claims no ownership over your game IP.

You grant Ludic a limited licence to host, store, render, transcode and display your content solely to operate the platform — for example to run your game in the browser, generate store thumbnails, or show your listing in Discover.

All paid plans include full commercial rights to the games you build. You may sell, license or distribute them on any storefront.

4. Acceptable use

Do not upload or generate content that is illegal, infringes someone else's intellectual property, sexualises minors, promotes hate or violence against protected groups, or contains malware.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, scrape or overload the platform, the AI engine, or the runtime, and do not use Ludic to build competing model-training datasets.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.

5. Plans, credits and fees

Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the current billing period.

Credits are consumed by AI generation, playtesting and build operations. Credits are non-refundable and do not convert to cash.

Commercial export fees apply per build depending on your plan tier. Where you sell games through the Ludic marketplace, Ludic retains a 10% platform fee on each sale; payment processing fees are charged separately by our payment provider.

6. Publishing and distribution

You are responsible for the content, ratings, age-appropriateness and legal compliance of anything you publish.

Console, Steam and mobile store releases always require approval and certification from those platform holders. Ludic prepares your build — it does not guarantee acceptance.

7. AI-generated output

Ludic uses AI models to generate assets, code and gameplay logic. Output may be imperfect and similar output may be generated for other users.

You are responsible for reviewing generated content before you publish or sell it.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms or if required by law.

On termination you keep ownership of your game IP; we will provide a reasonable window to export your projects where possible.

9. Disclaimers and liability

Ludic is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that generated output will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ludic's total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
